The Anguilla Sailing Association, Anguilla, BWI is seeking a summer Assistant Program Director/Instructor for the Anguilla Youth Sailing Club, located on the Caribbean Island of Anguilla, 8 miles north of St. Martin.

This position could lead to a full time Program Director/Instructor effective 1 September 2010. The successful candidate will preferably have full training in the teaching methods of the Optimist World Class dinghies with at least one year of sailing instruction experience with small boats, including working as a team member in advancing leadership roles.

He/she will also possess Coach Training certification in Optimists, possess the personal skills for interacting with both adults and youth, and be capable of working with little direct supervision. The Association will provide the successful candidate with a base compensation, round trip airfare from North America, lodging, use of a vehicle, basic phone, Internet and cable TV, paid work permit, and 2 weeks vacation. There are additional earning opportunities for the person through gratuities and resort courses.

ASA Membership

Membership in the Anguilla Sailing Association is open to all those interested in furthering the sport of sailing. By becoming a member, you are not only supporting the sport of sailing, but also the Youth Sailing Club and local boat racing. All monies raised from memberships goes directly to The Anguilla Youth Sailing Club.
